Wellbeing Wagons

As a dedicated P&C, we are incredibly proud to support the wellbeing of our 1020 primary-aged students, ensuring their educational journey is enriched with joy and connection. Our “Wellbeing Wagons” program is a shining example, providing a safe and engaging space during break times, especially for our neurodiverse students who find solace and belonging there. With the Community Kickstart Grant, we can refresh our Wellbeing Wagons with new games, art supplies, and puzzles, ensuring the program’s continued success and longevity. Furthermore, a large marquee would provide much-needed shade and protection, allowing more children to participate comfortably. This investment isn’t just in toys; it’s in fostering friendships, building resilience, and creating an inclusive environment where every child feels supported, safe, and ready to thrive.

Coolum Beach Surf Life Saving Club

New Emergency Vehicle

As Coolum Beach Surf Life Saving Club, we are the heart of this vibrant community, with over 250 dedicated volunteers who tirelessly patrol our beautiful beaches. Each year, we ensure the safety of tens of thousands of beach visitors, providing vital emergency response and fostering a love for the ocean through our engaging youth programs. The Community Kickstart Grant would be instrumental in securing a new side-by-side vehicle (SSV) to significantly enhance our ability to respond swiftly to emergencies, covering vast stretches of sand and reaching those in need faster than ever before. This isn’t just about a vehicle; it’s about strengthening community safety, inspiring our next generation of lifesavers, and giving every visitor the confidence to enjoy our pristine coastline.

Coolum Beach Meals on Wheels Inc

Volunteer Support Program

Since 1986, Coolum Meals on Wheels has passionately delivered more than just nutritious, freshly cooked meals; we provide vital social connection to vulnerable individuals in our community. With over 200 dedicated volunteers, we offer a choice of delicious three-course meals, prepared daily by our chefs, ensuring our clients receive quality food and a friendly visit four days a week. As demand grows, with projected meal deliveries reaching 20,000 for 2025, we are seeking support to offer a $10 petrol reimbursement to our volunteer drivers. This incentive is crucial to attract and retain the volunteers who are the backbone of our service, enabling us to continue expanding our reach across our broad catchment area, from Mount Ninderry to Peregian, and ensuring our clients receive their fresh meals within crucial health and safety timelines.
